Work

Professionally, Rod is a Product Manager leading a team of software developers in an Agile framework. He builds cool, useful products. He once designed / built Windows based PCs, clustered servers and networking products for HP in Cupertino. He now uses Macs exclusively.

Radio

Rod is passionate about various aspects of the Amateur Radio hobby, including Digital, QRP, DSTAR and Raspberry Pi experimentation. Annual Dayton Pilgrim. He  stands in the rain for deserving ARES events. He is a terrible contester. He promises he will someday learn The Code.

Family

Rod is supported by his lovely wife Laurie, daughters Emma (15) & Olivia (10), aGolden Retriever, Tesla Blue, and Gordon the Leopard Gecko.
